Description of the Map
-------------------------------

Bumps, bumps, some pits, some pits that you can't see, a hill or two, some more bumps, and a very strange tower which lies in the southeast - a monolith which supposedly keeps all b80s away.

No regen, ONE respawn point (for single-melee mass spawns, fun fun fun!), and one of the squares is unused, but I couldn't figger out how to delete it, so, oh well.

Story
------------------------------

One day, Musty got to a thinkin'. Musty had been playing in these "SS" - Straight Shooters games, and he had noticed how almost every player uses a large vehicle, a Jefferson Limo or a Sovereign usually, and all that they do with this beast is slowly backpedal while firing their linked cannons constantly. Musty took a look at this, and saw that it was not Good. Musty made hisself a Strider, with a Flamethrower and Fire Dropper as armaments, and sought to rectify the untruthful play of the day. Many times Musty gave Limo drivers a plink in the head, and a few times Musty found hisself dead. Musty would duel a Manta or a Sov and come out triumphant in the less-armored car many times. Musty failed to change the minds of the masses on the location of true i76 skill and fun, though, and many continued to think that by simply placing enormous amounts of armor and four linked weapons onto the front of their vehicles, that they can be Good, and well with the Spirit of i76. Musty decided he needed to do something drastic -- this talking in the third person was driving him crazy! So, I made a map, specifically one to discourage use of large vehicles and careless driving styles. It's not a good map, or the most fun map you'll ever play, but I can guarantee you will not see a successful Limo or Sov prancing around triumphantly in me playground, Base-Twenty Sanctuary. Passive driving does not work on this map, I've made sure of it.

At first, I did not intend to release this map, only to keep it and use it in the event that I was challenged on the AVA Ladder, as I had been looking for tricky map choice for the past few weeks or so. I can tell you now, do not even attempt to outdrive me on this one. I laid each hole/bump in groups of ten at a time.

I figured, hey, why not release it? Not like people will actually download and play it! Err, 'scuze, I hope you enjoy it. :o)

How to Install the Map
-------------------------------

Nitro:
Unzip into the respective miss8 and miss16 folders in your Nitro/miss8 or miss16 directory.

Acknowledgements

Special thanks to all lazy SS drivers who take out b80s for the insight. May you wreck five times over each bump.
No one beta-tested this map. I asked a few people if it worked ok on their machines, and they ended up replying with some junk about how hard the map was. I know how hard the map is, I made it. I take all credit, mu-ha-ha-cough-cough-*choke*.

Technical Details
-----------------
Can't see pits right ahead of you, I know this, and believe that it adds more to the map than it removes. In which other map do you have to be completely paranoid just to make sure that you do not die from the terrain itself?
Blah blah blah, anything else you wish to ask about the map, and it's numerous faults, can be sent to to my good buddy Rev. Ted at ted_57@hotmail.com. Expect him to reply with a "My map sucks? Are you crazy? What are you talking about?! WHAT MAP?!? I believe it is -you- who sucks.".
