Map Description:

It started as an innocent and very popular game. Contestants
would pay an entrance fee, select the car of their choice, and a race of
predetermined time and/or number of laps would ensue; the winner would
take home a large sum of cash -- a combination of money from the entrance
fees and the corporate sponsors of the game.
At first, players were monitored by specially trained judges both
on the ground and in the air. As the game became more popular, it was
linked to a series of satellites; the game and everything about it was
synchronized electronically to a central computer system via satellites.
The game was broadcast to every home and television in the world.
After a time, there were several instances of brutal violence
within the game. These instances of violence did not go unnoticed; they
attracted special attention from the public. The public liked what they
saw -- and demanded to see more of it.
The game, now known as "SYNCHRONICA" became a slaughterhouse
almost overnight. Now contestants were allowed to outfit their vehicles
with all manner of weaponry -- and use it to stay alive, no matter what.
The object of the game had changed from "win" to "be the only one left
alive"; the game designed to be "a once in a lifetime adrenaline rush and
a chance to win a lot of money" had disintegrated into nothing more than
a weekly display of violence and death.

But after all.......who wants to share the prize money?
